“What I love about this story and what makes it so compelling, especially at Easter time, is that it’s a true redemption story,” Osnes said in a recent interview. “I think it’s all about how even in the most hopeless situations God can show up and turn it into something beautiful.”

“Just In Time” tells the story of Hannah (Osnes) and Rowan (Greyston Holt), who find themselves at a desperate crossroads ten years into their marriage. Hitting a near-breaking point, they must go on separate journeys over Easter weekend to find answers that draw them both towards God and mend their marriage.

The film premiered during Holy Week on Great American Family and will start streaming on Great American Pure Flix April 12. Producer Candace Cameron Bure called its story “stunningly aspirational.” And Osnes couldn’t agree more.

“God jump-started 2024 with an opportunity to film a beautiful new movie on Vancouver Island,” she wrote on Instagram before the film’s premiere. “Tho we battled snow and some frigid temps on set, I pinched myself every day, so grateful to help bring the meaningful story & message of #JustInTime to life for all of you this Easter season.”

The Christian actress, who lists Proverbs 3:5-6 in her social media bio, no doubt identified with the film’s message of hope. After all, life, love and marriage come with their fair share of challenges, but faith in God can lead us through even the toughest of times.

"God has proven His faithfulness time and time again in my life, especially when I'm facing the unknown... which is never an easy place to be!” she explained in a recent interview. “I'm constantly comforted knowing He will always lead me on a straight path, as I continue to trust and surrender to Him."

Osnes previously wowed Great American Pure Flix fans in “A Dash of Christmas” this past holiday season and is looking forward to doing more faith-filled projects that the whole family can enjoy.

"I get excited about seeing faith represented on screen,” she said. “So many shows on TV these days can leave an icky feeling after watching. Or it's content I would never want my young nephews to see. I know I can trust the films on GAF to provide clean, redemptive, family-friendly content that leaves me smiling and spreads hope to families across the country.”
