Prayer for Married Couples
Marriage is one of the greatest sacrifices a person can make for another in this life. It takes courage, humility, and true love of Christ to give yourself up for another and become one in Holy Matrimony. In honor of Valentine’s Day coming up, let us take the time to pray for married couples today, especially those struggling to remain at peace in trying times.
So [also] husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. (Ephesians 5:28)
Here is today’s morning prayer:
Dear God, we pray that married couples always keep You at the center of their relationship. We pray that they surrender their marriage to You and Your Perfect Will. We pray for those struggling in their marriage, that they may find peace in their homes and hearts, through the Love of Jesus Christ.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
