Prayer for Those in Single Life
Valentine’s Day is the most romantic holiday of the year, and while romantic love is beautiful in its own right, we often forget that God’s love is universal. Expressing love for a family member, friend, and neighbor can be just as beautiful. In honor of Valentine’s Day coming up, let us take the time to pray for those in single life, who are often overlooked during this holiday of love.
Find your delight in the LORD who will give you your heart’s desire. (Psalm 37:4)
Here is today’s morning prayer:
Holy Spirit, please guide those in single life. We ask that You help them to discern their calling and help them to not feel discouraged. For those seeking a spouse, we ask that You help them prepare themselves for their spouse and always keep You at the center of their focus.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
