As September begins and we settle into a new season, we’re excited to invite you to our next Great American Book Club read!

Our September Book Club Pick: Theo of Golden by Allen Levi

When a mysterious stranger named Theo arrives in the small Southern city of Golden, he brings with him a unique way of connecting with its residents. After discovering portraits of local townspeople in a coffeehouse, Theo begins returning the portraits to those they depict in exchange for their stories. As each story unfolds, secrets are revealed, hearts are opened, and lives are changed in unexpected ways.

Theo of Golden highlights important lessons such as giving and receiving, seeing and being seen, and the lasting impact of generosity and connection. It reminds us of what can happen when we choose kindness, embrace wonder, and open our hearts to the people around us.
