Can't wait for the premiere of Crossroad Springs, the newest original series to drop on both Pure Flix and Great American Family? We can't either! This series boasts a stellar cast, incredible sets and scenery, and a dedication to incorporating viewer feedback that is unmatched in the television landscape. While the premiere itself is not to be missed, before their onscreen debut, get to know the characters who make up the community:
James Hamilton
James Hamilton (Jonathan Stoddard) is a dedicated pastor, typically based at his parish in Chicago. However, when family circumstances compel him to come home, he returns to Crossroad Springs and finds that the Hamilton ranch, and the whole town, might need him to stay for a bit. James is everything a pastor should be - contemplative, reverent, and wise - while also remaining true to his cowboy roots.

Janet Hamilton
Like her brother, James's sister Janet (Emily Alatalo), has also left the life of ranching for different pastures. Though she did not venture as far as James, she is now a devoted doctor at a medical clinic one town over from her tiny hometown of Crossroad Springs. Janet is thoughtful and family oriented, though also dedicated to carving her own path. And, she can be just as stubborn as her father, Willis, when she needs to be.

Willis Hamilton
The patriarch of the Hamilton clan, Willis (Shaun Johnston) is a rancher through and through. He's a bit dismayed that neither of his children have taken up the family business, but he's also willful and capable enough to believe that he can continue to run the ranch on his own. When we first meet Willis, an injury forces him to confront his family's legacy... and the expectations he has set for both his children and himself.

Aunt Amy Hamilton
James and Janet aren't the only siblings at home on the Hamilton ranch! Since the death of Willis's wife, his sister Amy (Kate Drummond) has stepped in to handle the books and other day to day aspects of running the business. Like Willis, she hopes that her niece and nephew will want to get more involved in their birthright, and when the opportunity arises, she quickly calls them home to pitch in. Amy is sensible and savvy, and in many ways she is the glue that keeps the Hamiltons together. She also has a no-nonsense attitude when it comes to the neighbors...

Daniel Newman
Across the way from the Hamilton ranch rests the historic Newman farm, now operated by Daniel Newman (Jesse Hutch). Though Daniel's father has died, a longstanding feud that exists between the Hamiltons and the Newmans (and was spurred on by Willis and Daniel's father) lives on. As he's always at bit mysterious, Daniel's true intentions remain unclear but could he be as neighborly as he might want to appear?

Maggie Johnson
When it comes to friendly hospitality there is no doubt that you'll find it at the Daisy Mae Cafe. Its owner, Maggie Johnson (Brittany Underwood), is excited to have introduced the first proper cafe the town has seen in years - named after her beloved grandmother and complete with her family recipes. Though Maggie is gracious to everyone who walks through her doors, she seems to have a sweet spot for James. These two might just have come home to Crossroad Springs at the perfect time to strike up a renewed friendship... or perhaps something more.

Lewis & Tina Hedges
Parents to be Lewis and Tina (Jon McLaren and Erin Agostino) are a bit down on their luck. Work is hard to find in town, and with a baby on the way they are struggling since Lewis lost his job. Despite tough times, these two remain hopeful and connected, encouraged by their love of God and for each other.
