A Prayer for Quiet Time with God
In a noisy world, God's voice is often heard most clearly in moments of stillness. Before we pour into others, we must first allow Him to pour into us.
Here is my morning prayer:
Lord, thank You for inviting me into Your presence. Help me make time today to slow down and simply be with You. Quiet the distractions in my mind and remind me that my greatest strength comes from spending time with You. Fill my heart with Your truth before I hear the opinions of the world. Let Your Word guide my thoughts, my attitude, and my decisions throughout the day. May my relationship with You always be my highest priority. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
