Work & Purpose
Lord, you give us purpose, and your plans are for our ultimate good. Even when things seem bleak, “we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, ESV).
I pray for the strength to align our lives with your greater purpose, finding joy along the way. May we actively seek you, consult our beliefs, and perceive challenges and setbacks as contributions to a higher purpose.
Guide us in our journey of Christian living, understanding that even in a world that may eventually forget our specific deeds, you will say, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” (Matthew 25:23, ESV).
