A Prayer for Rest & Renewal
God created rest as a gift. True rest allows our minds, bodies, and spirits to be renewed so we can continue serving Him with joy.
Here is my morning prayer:
Lord, thank You for reminding me that rest is not weakness but wisdom. Help me to slow down today and find renewal in Your presence. Restore my body where I am tired, my mind where I am overwhelmed, and my spirit where I have grown weary. Teach me to trust that the world keeps turning because You are in control—not because of my constant effort. Fill me with renewed strength and joy for the days ahead. In Jesus' name I pray, amen.
