Today's Morning Prayer - Friday 12/19/25

 Strength for the Weary 

Lord, even a righteous man falls and has to get up again and again. We acknowledge that walking by faith can render us weary at times, but you are the strength of our lives. Please encourage us not to grow weary in well doing but to wait on you, for it is in waiting on you that our strength is renewed. When we do become weary, show us how to lay our burdens at your feet so we may receive rest. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen. 

“For a righteous man may fall seven times and rise again, but the wicked shall fall by calamity.” - Proverbs 24:16 (NKJV)
