Christmas is a season that brings people together, and in communities across America, churches are often at the center of that connection.
They care for families, serve neighbors, support those in need and create places where people can find faith, encouragement and belonging. At Christmas, that role becomes even more meaningful.
That is the heart behind Great American Christmas: Small Town Churches.
This new initiative from Great American Media is designed to recognize and support small-town churches that are making a difference in the communities they serve. We want to hear about the churches that are caring for people in practical ways, whether through food, gifts, clothing, children’s programs or community outreach, while also helping families stay connected to faith and the true meaning of Christmas.
For Great American Media, this is a natural extension of Christmas As It’s Meant To Be: faith, family, generosity and taking care of the people around us.
We’re inviting you to nominate a small-town church that is making Christmas meaningful in its community and tell us how additional support could help its ministry make an even greater impact this season.
Maybe it’s your church. Maybe it’s the church where you grew up. Or maybe it’s a congregation you’ve watched faithfully serve others year after year.
