January 2026 Proverbs Daily Study - Sunday 1/25/26

By Krista Scott

Beginning the Year Rooted in God’s Wisdom

Join us in January as we intentionally walk through Proverbs in 31 days, starting the new year rooted in God’s wisdom and committed to living set apart.

Day 25 – Proverbs 25

Theme: Humility and Self-Restraint

“Do not exalt yourself in the king’s presence, and do not claim a place among his great men; it is better for him to say to you, ‘Come up here,’ than for him to humiliate you before his nobles.” (Proverbs 25:6–7 NIV)

Devotion:
Proverbs 25 reminds us that wisdom is marked by humility and self-restraint. God calls us to resist self-promotion and trust Him with honor and recognition.

Living wisely means choosing humility in our attitudes and actions, allowing God—not pride—to shape our position and purpose.

Reflection Question:
Where might God be calling me to practice humility today?
