January 2026 Proverbs Daily Study - Saturday 1/17/26

By Krista Scott

Beginning the Year Rooted in God’s Wisdom

Join us in January as we intentionally walk through Proverbs in 31 days, starting the new year rooted in God’s wisdom and committed to living set apart.

Day 17 – Proverbs 17

Theme: Choosing Peace and Understanding

“Better a dry crust with peace and quiet than a house full of feasting, with strife.” (Proverbs 17:1 NIV)

Devotion:
Proverbs 17 reminds us that peace is more valuable than outward comfort or abundance. Wisdom teaches us to prioritize harmony, understanding, and healthy relationships.

Choosing peace often requires humility and restraint, but it reflects a heart aligned with God’s desire for unity and love.

Reflection Question:
Where might God be inviting me to pursue peace over being right?

We’d love to hear how this reflection spoke to your heart—share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
