By Krista Scott

Beginning the Year Rooted in God’s Wisdom

Join us in January as we intentionally walk through Proverbs in 31 days, starting the new year rooted in God’s wisdom and committed to living set apart.

Day 19 – Proverbs 19

Theme: Patience and Trust in God’s Timing

“A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.” (Proverbs 19:11 NIV)

Devotion:
Wisdom teaches patience, especially when we feel wronged or frustrated. Proverbs 19 reminds us that restraint and grace reflect strength, not weakness.

Trusting God with outcomes allows us to release offenses and respond with compassion, demonstrating a life rooted in wisdom.

Reflection Question:
Where is God calling me to practice patience or extend grace?

We’d love to hear how this reflection spoke to your heart—share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
