Beginning the Year Rooted in God’s Wisdom
Join us in January as we intentionally walk through Proverbs in 31 days, starting the new year rooted in God’s wisdom and committed to living set apart.
Day 23 – Proverbs 23
Theme: Guarding the Heart and Desires
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23 NIV)
Devotion:
Wisdom calls us to be mindful of our desires and influences. Proverbs encourages us to guard our hearts carefully, recognizing that what captures our attention shapes our direction.
Living set apart requires discernment—choosing what draws us closer to God and turning away from what distracts us from His truth.
Reflection Question:
What desires or influences might God be asking me to examine more closely?
We’d love to hear how this reflection spoke to your heart—share your thoughts with us in the comments below!
