Shae Robins, Christopher Russell, and Madeleine Cox will reunite for another heartwarming Christmas story following an enthusiastic response from viewers.
Christmas wishes really do come true! And for fans of A Christmas Prayer Tradition, there's another wonderful reason to celebrate.
Just days after the television premiere of A Christmas Prayer Tradition, Great American Media has officially greenlit a third film, set to premiere as part of Great American Christmas 2027!
The exciting announcement follows an outpouring of love from viewers who welcomed Natalie Sands, Wes Thornton, and young Caroline back into their homes and hearts. And the best part? Shae Robins, Christopher Russell, and Madeleine Cox are all returning to continue the beloved Christmas story.
A CHRISTMAS STORY WORTH CONTINUING
What began with one little girl's heartfelt prayers has grown into something truly special.
The journey started with A Christmas Prayer, winner of the prestigious 2026 Movieguide® Epiphany Prize® for Best Family Movie. Set in the charming town of Bellford Falls, the film introduced audiences to Natalie Sands (Robins), Wes Thornton (Russell), and Caroline (Cox), whose faith and compassion remind us that even the simplest prayers can inspire extraordinary acts of kindness.
The story continued with A Christmas Prayer Tradition, which premiered October 22 on Great American Pure Flix before making its television debut on Great American Family.
Across both films, audiences have embraced the characters and their stories of faith, love, and community, discovering that answered prayers often begin when someone chooses to make a difference in another person's life.
THE FANS HAVE SPOKEN, AND GREAT AMERICAN MEDIA IS LISTENING!
Sometimes the most meaningful Christmas traditions are the ones we never want to end. And judging by the response to A Christmas Prayer Tradition, audiences aren't ready to say goodbye to Bellford Falls!
Following the film's premiere, viewers took to social media to celebrate its messages of faith, family, answered prayers, and the importance of caring for others.
Viewer Linda Whipp shared, "This movie gave warmth to my heart and strengthens my faith in Jesus, humanity and community."
Another fan, Brenda Hash Eugenio, celebrated the returning cast and the film's message, writing, "GAF you did it again! What a great movie!! So glad all the actors from the first movie returned."
And Karen Sousa expressed what many fans were already hoping for: "I love that we can celebrate Jesus on your channel. Hoping for sequel number three."
That Christmas wish is officially coming true!
"The extraordinary response to A Christmas Prayer Tradition speaks to what makes our films different," said Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media. "Our stories celebrate the traditions audiences love while keeping the true meaning of Christmas at their heart. This is one of the many reasons viewers have made Great American Family and Pure Flix America's Christmas Destination."
