We all know that one of the best parts about watching a Christmas movie is the warm, cozy ambience that helps us get into the Christmas spirit. At Great American, we make it a point to ensure that every single scene is filled with twinkle lights, garland, snow, and all the Christmas joy!
Location and setting are two of the most important parts of making that happen. Think of it this way, which setting would you prefer in a Christmas movie: a cozy mountain top ski cabin sure to be frosted with snow and twinkle lights, or beach-front bungalow with palm trees decorated in a few lights here and there where you couldn't even tell which season it was?
Now these are extreme examples, and I can ensure you that the latter would NEVER be featured in a Christmas movie here at Great American! We take the location and setting of our Christmas movies very seriously. But the point still stands!
When making your choices for the Great American Christmas Movie Challenge, think about what the general audience would prefer to see. While we would never feature a movie set in a beach-front bungalow, we have a few variations of some Christmas-filled cold weather settings. Would people prefer to see a cozy small-town inn? Or would they prefer a mountain-side lodge? Or possibly a quaint library filled with antique books and covered in Christmas decor?
It's important to look at every detail when considering your options. Here at Great American we sure do, and we know how much each and every little detail means to every one of our viewers!
I hope this helps, now get to choosing!
