Here are my rankings of this year’s Great American Christmas 2026 movies!

1. A Sweet Christmas Anniversary – Candace and Cameron, a Christmas destination, a touch of mystery, and a prime Thanksgiving-week premiere make this hard to beat.
2. The Christmas Yes List – Danica’s movies consistently perform, and a true romantic comedy with strong lead chemistry should attract a big audience!
   
3. The Greatest Christmas Gift - Danica, a strongly Christmas-forward title, and a Black Friday premiere give this major event potential.
   
4. A Second Chance Christmas - Candace’s audience and the emotional promise of a second-chance story should deliver a strong season launch.
   
5. A Christmas Prayer Tradition – Last year’s fan favorite returns for Part 2.
   
6. Christmas at Moose Lake - Britt Robertson and Ryan Paevey two fantastic additions to the slate. This one is slightly more dramatic and beautifully shot!
7. A Very Arctic Christmas - Jill Wagner and Cameron Mathison bring significant star power, with an Arctic setting that could help the movie stand out.
8. Silver Bells at Christmas - Laura Osnes and the ensemble cast plus original music – the audience should love it!
9. A Christmas Rescue - Trevor Donovan and dogs?! This one is sure to break through during the crowded Thanksgiving week.
10. Karen Kingsbury's The Christmas Ring - Karen Kingsbury’s name and an emotional, faith-adjacent story should attract a loyal audience and those that may not have caught it in theaters.
11. Three Generations, One Christmas – Mario Lopez and Tony Danza! The multigenerational premise offer broad family appeal.
12. The Ornament Library - Merritt Patterson and Ryan Paevey are a strong pairing, though the December date and gentler premise may produce a more modest audience.
13. Letters this Christmas – Jesse Hutch fans – this one is for you!
14. An Ozark Mountain Christmas - The setting gives it a distinctive identity! It is a lot of fun, but competition is serious this season!
15. Making Christmas Bright – A sweet story towards the end of the season – it’s hard to predict!
16. Christmas By the Spoonful - The food-centered Christmas concept feels more straightforward than the rest.
17. Christmas Wrapped In Love – Cindy and Marcus are a fun pairing in this lighthearted Christmas movie!
18. A Very Evergreen Christmas – Shot in the cold winter, this one is a great straightforward Christmas movie.
