Last Christmas, Sophie Marlow returned to her late uncle's maple farm as she reconnected with her childhood friend, Sam, and they fell in love. Following their engagement, Sam is working on a new Christmas movie he wrote, inspired by their own love story. Sophie feels neglected as it seems Sam cares more for the movie version of Sophie and Sam, rather than their real life relationship. Unbeknownst to Sophie, Sam is planning a surprise Christmas wedding for her. Will Sam be able to pull of directing his first movie and surprising Sophie with the wedding of her dreams, all at the same time?
