Welcome back to the second week of the Great American Christmas Movie Challenge Rankings Reveal! It’s time to find out where A Christmas Prayer Tradition stands in the rankings.

But first, did you see the exciting news? The Christmas Prayer ensemble will be returning for a third installment in the franchise for Great American Christmas 2027.

The announcement follows an exceptionally enthusiastic response from viewers to the latest chapter, starring Shae Robins (A Christmas Prayer, A Christmas Prayer Tradition) and Christopher Russell (“When Hope Calls,” A Christmas Prayer, A Christmas Prayer Tradition), whose heartfelt portrayal of faith, love, and compassion continues to resonate deeply with audiences.

Until then, we will be enjoying the greatest lineup of Christmas movie premieres in one season.

In the small town of Comfort, Kentucky, Ginny Nolan (Osnes) is determined to save her late mother’s cherished Christmas shop, Silver Bells, before mounting repairs cause it to close. When ambitious entrepreneur Nick Day (McPartlin) arrives with plans to buy the shop, Ginny finds herself at odds with his vision for the future but also drawn to him on a personal level. As her former music partner – and almost first love – Tyler Benton (Wicks) returns home to participate in a Christmas songwriting showcase, old feelings resurface. Caught between Nick’s compelling offer and obvious interest in her, and Tyler’s renewed connection, Ginny must choose between protecting the past she loves and embracing a future that could change her heart forever.

A Second Chance Christmas centers on Anna and James Campbell, who both arrive early to their family cabin in Townsend, Tennessee, ahead of a planned Christmas gathering with their adult children. When an unexpected ice storm hits, knocking out power and cell service and closing the roads, their kids are unable to join them, leaving Anna and James stranded alone together for several days. Forced to rely on candlelight, firewood, and improvised meals, they begin revisiting old traditions while uncovering long-held misunderstandings.

In A Christmas Prayer Tradition, Natalie prepares for the launch of her debut children’s book, Adeline the Angel, while Wes continues to deepen his faith journey. When Caroline quietly begins a mission to answer the prayers and needs of those around her community, the family discovers that some of God’s greatest works are accomplished through simple acts of kindness. As Christmas approaches, Bellford Falls once again becomes a place where hope is restored, prayers are answered, and hearts are drawn closer to the reason for the season.

A Very Arctic Christmas

Starring Cameron Mathison and Jill Wagner

In A Very Arctic Christmas, single dad Jim, a former major league baseball player turned broadcaster, shares a treasured holiday tradition with his 20-year-old daughter, Isla: each year, they take turns choosing how to spend Christmas. When Isla picks a once-in-a-lifetime Arctic cruise, Jim agrees, expecting to return in time for his annual Christmas Eve broadcast. But a timing mix-up leaves them stranded in an Arctic town after their ship departs without them. With help from wildlife conservationist Jane, Jim and Isla set out across the frozen wilderness in a rugged tundra buggy. Along the way, they experience the wonder of the Aurora Borealis, the beauty of the Arctic landscape, and an unexpected holiday adventure. As their carefully made plans change, Jim is reminded that Christmas is about more than schedules and traditions—and that sometimes the most meaningful holiday memories are the ones you never planned to make together as a family.
