Welcome to Pure Flix!


Pure Flix provides a subscription service to our members allowing access to certain television episodes, short and feature-length movies and additional video content ("Content") which is streamed over the Internet to certain Internet-connected TV's, computers and other devices ("Pure Flix-ready devices"). This content is intentionally values driven and faith-based as consistent with Pure Flix mission and purpose.

These Terms of Use govern your use of our service. As used in these Terms of Use, "Pure Flix service," "our service" or "the service" means the service provided by Pure Flix (through its operator God’s Not Dead Foundation d/b/a Pure Flix, a Louisiana non-profit Corporation and approved IRS designated 501(c)(3) organization) for finding and viewing Content, including all features and functionalities, website, and user interfaces, as well as all content and software associated with our service.


Please note that these Terms of Use include hyperlinks that may be accessed only through our website, so if you are reviewing these Terms of Use through certain Pure Flix ready devices, you may need to visit Terms of Use to review these hyperlinked terms.

  1. Acceptance of Terms of Use

    1. These Terms of Use, which include our End User License Agreement ("EULA") and Privacy Policy govern your use of the Pure Flix service. By using, visiting, or browsing the Pure Flix service, you accept and agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, do not use the Pure Flix service.

    2. The Pure Flix service is provided by God’s Not Dead Foundation d/b/a Pure Flix.

  2. Communication Preferences

    By using the Pure Flix service, you consent to receiving electronic communications from Pure Flix relating to your account. These communications may involve sending emails to your email address provided during registration, or posting communications on the Pure Flix service, or in the "Account" page and will include notices about your account (e.g., payment authorizations, change in password or Payment Choice, confirmation e-mails and other transactional information) and are part of your relationship with Pure Flix. You agree that any notice, agreements, disclosure or other communications that we send to you electronically will satisfy any legal communication requirements, including that such communications be in writing. You should maintain copies of electronic communications by printing a paper copy or saving an electronic copy. You also consent to receiving certain other communications from Pure Flix, such as newsletters, special offers, member surveys and promotional announcements via email or other methods. Please review our Privacy Policy for further detail on our marketing communications.

  3. Privacy

    Personally identifying information is subject to our Privacy Policy, the terms of which are incorporated herein. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

  4. Pure Flix Service

    1. You must be 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your state, province, or territory to become a member of the Pure Flix service. Individuals under the age of 18, or applicable age of majority, may utilize the service only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, under such person's account and otherwise subject to these Terms of Use.

    2. The Pure Flix service, and any content viewed through our service, is for your personal and non-commercial use only. During your Pure Flix membership, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, license to access the Pure Flix service and view Content through the service. Except for the foregoing, no right, title or interest shall be transferred to you. You agree not to use the service for public performances.

    3. You may view Content through the Pure Flix service primarily within the country in which you have established your account and only in geographic locations where we offer our service and have licensed such Content. The content that may be available to watch will vary by geographic location. Pure Flix will use technologies to verify your geographic location. The number of devices on which you may simultaneously watch may change from time to time at our discretion without notice.

    4. We continually update the Pure Flix service, including the content library. In addition, we continually test various aspects of our service, including our website, user interfaces, service levels, plans, promotional features, availability of Content, and delivery and pricing. We reserve the right to, and by using our service you agree that we may, include you in or exclude you from these tests without notice. We reserve the right in our sole and absolute discretion to make changes from time to time and without notice in how we offer and operate our service.

    5. The availability of Content to watch will change from time to time. The quality of the display of the streaming Content may vary from computer to computer, and device to device, and may be affected by a variety of factors, such as your location, the bandwidth available through and/or speed of your Internet connection. HD and Full HD availability is subject to your Internet service and device capabilities. Not all content is available in all formats, such as HD and Full HD). The minimum connection speed for SD quality is 0.5 Mbps. The minimum connection speed for HD (defined as a resolution of 720p) is 3.0 Mbps. The minimum connection speed for Full HD (defined as a resolution of 1080p) is 5.0 Mbps; however, we recommend a faster connection for improved video quality for each type. You are responsible for all Internet access charges. Please check with your Internet provider for information on possible Internet data usage charges. Pure Flix makes no representations or warranties about the quality of your watching experience on your display. The time it takes to begin watching Content will vary based on a number of factors, including your location, available bandwidth at the time, the Content you have selected and the configuration of your Pure Flix ready device.

    6. You agree to use the Pure Flix service, including all features and functionalities associated therewith, in accordance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, including public performance limitations or other restrictions on use of the service or content therein. Except as explicitly authorized in these Terms of Service, you agree not to archive, download (other than through caching necessary for personal use), reproduce, distribute, modify, display, perform, publish, license, create derivative works from, offer for sale, or use content and information contained on or obtained from or through the Pure Flix service without express written permission from Pure Flix or God’s Not Dead Foundation d/b/a Pure Flix or its licensors. You also agree not to: circumvent, remove, alter, deactivate, degrade or thwart any of the content protections in the Pure Flix service; use any robot, spider, scraper or other automated means to access the Pure Flix service; decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble any software or other products or processes accessible through the Pure Flix service; insert any code or product or manipulate the content of the Pure Flix service in any way; or, use any data mining, data gathering or extraction method. In addition, you agree not to upload, post, e-mail or otherwise send or transmit any material designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment associated with the Pure Flix service, including any software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs.

    7. Pure Flix streaming software is developed by, or for, Pure Flix and is designed to enable streaming of content from Pure Flix through Pure Flix ready devices. This software may vary by device and medium, and functionalities may also differ between devices. BY USING OUR SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO End User License Agreement AND TO RECEIVE, WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE OR PROMPTING, UPDATED VERSIONS OF THE PURE FLIX AND RELATED THIRD-PARTY SOFTWARE. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE FOREGOING TERMS, DO NOT USE OUR SERVICE. WE DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR OTHERWISE WARRANT THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE DEVICES, INCLUDING THE CONTINUING COMPATIBILITY OF THE DEVICE WITH OUR SERVICE. By using our service, you agree to look solely to the entity that manufactured and/or sold you the device for any issues related to the device and its compatibility with the Pure Flix service. If your Pure Flix ready device is sold, lost or stolen, please deactivate the Pure Flix ready device. If you fail to log out or deactivate your device, subsequent users may access the Pure Flix service through your account and may be able to access certain of your account information.

    8. We may terminate or restrict your use of our service, without compensation or notice if you are, or if we suspect that you are (i) in violation of any of these Terms of Use or (ii) engaged in illegal or improper use of the service.

  5. Membership, Billing and Cancellation

    1. Membership
      1. Perpetual Membership. Your Pure Flix membership, will continue month-to-month or annually (if you chose an annual subscription) unless and until you cancel your membership, or we terminate it. For applicable donations programs that include a lifetime membership, lifetime constitutes the lifetime of the donor or 100 years or until the date God’s Not Dead Foundation ceases to commercially offer the Service, whichever comes first. A Lifetime membership may not be bequeathed, gifted, or other such means of transfer. Pure Flix makes no warranties as to the expected lifetime of its Service. Pure Flix may terminate the Lifetime Membership and any other membership, at any time for violating the Terms of Service. You must have Internet access and provide us with a current, valid, accepted method of payment (as such may be updated from time to time, "Payment Choice") to use the Pure Flix service. We will bill the monthly, annual or lifetime membership fee to your Payment Choice. You must cancel your membership before it renews each month (or year in the case or an annual subscription) in order to avoid billing of the next month's (or year’s) membership fees to your Payment Choice.
      2. Varying Memberships. From time to time, Pure Flix may offer a number of membership plans, including special promotional plans or memberships with differing conditions and limitations. Any materially different terms from those described in these Terms of Use will be disclosed at your sign-up or in other communications made available to you. You can find specific details regarding your membership with Pure Flix by visiting our website and clicking on the "Account" link. We reserve the right to modify, terminate or otherwise amend our offered membership plans in the future.
    2. Billing
      1. Recurring Billing. By beginning your Pure Flix membership, you authorize us to charge you a recurring monthly or annual membership fee at the then current rate, and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the Pure Flix service, such as taxes and possible transaction fees, to your Payment Choice. You acknowledge that the amount billed each month or year may vary from month to month or year to year for reasons that may include differing amounts due to changing or adding a plan, and you authorize us to charge your Payment Choice for such varying amounts, which may be billed monthly or annually in one or more charges. If your location requires tax to be collected, we will collect and submit accordingly.
      2. Price Changes. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for our service or any components thereof in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion. Except as otherwise expressly provided for in these Terms of Use, any price changes to your service will take effect following email notice to you.
      3. Billing Cycle. The membership fee for our service will be billed at the beginning of your membership and each month, or every six months for the 6-month plan, or year in the case of annual subscriptions and thereafter unless and until you cancel your membership. We automatically bill your Payment Choice each month on the calendar day corresponding to the commencement of your paying membership. Membership fees are fully earned upon payment. We reserve the right to change the timing of our billing, in particular, as indicated below, if your Payment Choice has not successfully settled. In the event your paying membership began on a day not contained in a given month, we may bill your Payment Choice on a day in the applicable month or such other day as we deem appropriate. For example, if you became a paying member on March 31st, in the case of a monthly membership your next payment date is likely to be April 30th, or in the case of a 6-month membership your next payment date is like to be September 30th and your Payment Choice would be billed on that date. Your renewal date may change due to changes in your Membership. Visit our website and click on the "View billing details" link on the "Account" page to see the commencement date for your next renewal period. We may authorize your Payment Choice in anticipation of membership or service-related charges. As used in these Terms of Use, "billing" shall indicate a charge, debit or other payment clearance, as applicable, against your Payment Choice. Unless otherwise stated differently, month or monthly (or year, annual, or annually) refers to your billing cycle.
      4. No Refunds. PAYMENTS ARE NONREFUNDABLE AND THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR PARTIALLY USED PERIODS. Following any cancellation, however, you will continue to have access to the service through the end of your current billing period. At any time, and for any reason, we may provide a refund, discount, or other consideration to some or all of our members ("credits"). The amount and form of such credits, and the decision to provide them, are at our sole and absolute discretion. The provision of credits in one instance does not entitle you to credits in the future for similar instances, nor does it obligate us to provide other members credits in the future, under any circumstance.
      5. Payment Choices. You may edit your Payment Choice information by visiting our website and clicking on the "Account" link, available at the top of the pages of the Pure Flix website. If a payment is not successfully settled, due to expiration, insufficient funds, or otherwise, and you do not edit your Payment Choice information or cancel your account (see, "Cancellation" below), you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts and authorize us to continue billing the Payment Choice, as it may be updated. This may result in a change to your payment billing dates. For certain Payment Choices, the issuer of your Payment Choice may charge you a foreign transaction fee or other charges. Check with your Payment Choice service provider for details.
      6. Cancellation. You may cancel your Pure Flix membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to the Pure Flix service through the end of your monthly or annual billing period. WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY PARTIAL-MONTH OR PARTIAL-YEAR MEMBERSHIP PERIODS OR UNWATCHED CONTENT. To cancel, go to the "Account" page on our website and follow the instructions for cancellation.
  6. Gift Cards

    1. Gift Cards (including electronic gift codes and gift emails) are one-time use cards and are only redeemable for the PureFlix.com subscription service (the “PureFlix.com Service”) in countries where the service is offered in the currency denominated on the Gift Card. To redeem a Gift Card, go to PureFlix.com/redeem and enter the card’s PIN. You must create or have an existing and valid membership with PureFlix.com that matches the email address entered at purchase of the Gift Card in order to redeem the Gift Card. Membership is subject to acceptance of our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. You must be 18 years of age or older to become a member of the PureFlix.com Service. Gift Cards are assigned a fixed monetary value (e.g., $30). The entire value of the Gift Card will be applied to the recipient's PureFlix.com account upon redemption. The monthly membership fee is dependent on your chosen plan and you may apply the value of the Gift Card to any plan. The duration of the Gift Card membership will be prorated based on the value of the Gift Card and the plan you choose.

    2. Gift Cards are not refundable (whether for cash or otherwise), except to the extent required by applicable law in the jurisdiction of your residence. Use of the Gift Card constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase other Gift Cards, and cannot be reloaded, or resold. For combinations with other offers, restrictions may apply. Gift Cards do not expire and are not subject to any transaction fees.

    3. Gift Cards may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or other promotional activities without PureFlix.com’s prior written approval. Use of PureFlix.com’s name, logo, trade dress, or trademarks in connection with the purchase or use of the Gift Cards is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, the use of Gift Cards in any manner that states or implies that any person, firm, corporation, website, business, product, or service is endorsed, sponsored by, or otherwise affiliated with, PureFlix.com is prohibited without PureFlix.com’s prior written approval.

    4. Upon purchase, title to the purchased Gift Cards, along with the risk of loss, destruction, or deterioration, transfers to the purchaser or any valid transferee who holds the applicable Gift Cards. As such, PureFlix.com is not responsible for any Gift Cards that are lost, stolen, destroyed, or used without your permission. IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF the GIFT CARD.

    5. The PureFlix.com Terms of Use apply. Gift Cards are issued by God’s Not Dead Foundation d/b/a Pure Flix, a Louisiana non-profit Corporation and approved IRS designated 501(c)(3) organization. When you purchase, receive or redeem a Gift Card, you agree that the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Gift Card terms.

    6. PureFlix.com may modify any of the terms and conditions governing use of the Gift Cards and the PureFlix.com Terms of Use at any time, with or without notice, even though these changes may affect your ability to use the Gift Card, subject to our compliance with applicable laws. The most current version of these Terms will be available on this site and will supersede all previous versions of these Terms.

    7. PureFlix.com may also issue Promotional Gift Cards, other cards, and gift codes (“Promotional Cards”). Promotional Cards are not subject to these Terms, may be issued or distributed by PureFlix.com’s partners, and may be subject to an expiration date and other conditions, as specified on the Promotional Cards or in related promotional materials.

  7. Passwords & Account Access

    1. The member who created the Pure Flix account and whose Payment Choice is charged is referred to here as the Account Owner. The Account Owner has access and control over the Pure Flix account. The Account Owner's control is exercised through use of the Account Owner's password and therefore to maintain exclusive control, the Account Owner should not reveal the password to anyone. In addition, if the Account Owner wishes to prohibit others from contacting Pure Flix Customer Service and potentially altering the Account Owner's control, the Account Owner should not reveal the Payment Choice details (e.g., last four digits of their credit or debit card) associated with their account. You are responsible for updating and maintaining the truth and accuracy of the information you provide to us relating to your account.

    2. In order to provide you with ease of access to your account and to help administer the Pure Flix service, Pure Flix implements technology that enables us to recognize you as the Account Owner and provide you with direct access to your account without requiring you to retype any password or other user identification when you revisit the Pure Flix service, which includes accessing via Pure Flix ready devices or website.


    4. You should be mindful of any communication requesting that you submit credit card or other account information. Providing your information in response to these types of communications can result in identity theft. Always access your sensitive account information by going directly to the Pure Flix website and not through a hyperlink in an email or any other electronic communication, even if it looks official. Pure Flix reserves the right to place any account on hold anytime with or without notification to the member in order to protect itself and its partners from what it believes to be fraudulent activity. Pure Flix is not obligated to credit or discount a membership for holds placed on the account by either a representative of Pure Flix or by the automated processes of Pure Flix.

  8. Disclaimers of Warranties and Limitations on Liability




    4. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS OF USE SHALL AFFECT ANY NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY RIGHTS THAT APPLY TO YOU. If any provision or provisions of these Terms of Use shall be held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

  9. Intellectual Property

    1. Copyright. The Pure Flix service, including all content provided on the Pure Flix service, is protected by United States and international copyright, trade secret or other intellectual property laws and treaties.

    2. Trademarks. Pure Flix is a registered trademark of God’s Not Dead Foundation d/b/a Pure Flix.

    3. Digital Millennium Copyright Act:   If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any Content, user submission or other content infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a notification pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) by providing us with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C. § 51 2(c)(3) for further details:

      1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed;
      2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
      3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material;
      4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an e-mail address;
      5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and
      6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
      If you believe in good faith that a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, the DMCA permits you to send Pure Flix a counter-notice. Notices and counter-notices must meet the then-current statutory requirements imposed by the DMCA; see http://www.loc.gov/copyright for details.

      You acknowledge that if you fail to comply with all of the requirements of this Section, your DMCA notice may not be valid.

      Pure Flix suggests that you consult your legal adviser before filing a notice or counter-notice. Also, please be aware that there can be penalties for false claims under the DMCA.
  10. Governing Law

    1. For all Pure Flix members, these Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Arizona, U.S.A. without regard to conflict of law provisions.

    2. You may also be entitled to certain consumer protection rights under the laws of your local jurisdiction.

  11. Applications. In the future, you may come across third-party applications (including, without limitation, websites, widgets, software, or other software utilities) ("Application(s)") that interact with the Pure Flix service. These Applications may import data related to your Pure Flix account and activity and otherwise gather data from you. These Applications are provided solely as a convenience to you, and Pure Flix is not responsible for such Applications. SUCH APPLICATIONS ARE OWNED OR OPERATED BY THIRD PARTIES THAT ARE NOT RELATED TO WITH OR SPONSORED BY PURE FLIX AND MAY NOT BE AUTHORIZED FOR USE WITH OUR SERVICE. USE OF AN APPLICATION IS AT YOUR OWN OPTION AND RISK.

  12. Customer Support. If you need assistance with your account, click on the "Help" link in the bottom left corner of our website home page at any time. There you will find answers to common frequently asked questions and information on reaching a live Customer Service representative. To find more information about our service and its features, please visit Pure Flix Help. In certain instances, Customer Service may best be able to assist you by using a remote access support tool through which we have full access to your computer. If you do not want us to have this access, you should not consent to support through the remote access tool, and we will assist you through other means. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and information provided by Customer Support or other portions of our website, these Terms of Use will control.

  13. Use of Information Submitted. Pure Flix is free to use any comments, information, ideas, concepts, reviews, or techniques or any other material contained in any communication you may send to us ("Feedback"), including responses to questionnaires or through postings to the Pure Flix service, including the Pure Flix website and user interfaces, without further compensation, acknowledgement or payment to you for any purpose whatsoever including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products and creating, modifying or improving the Pure Flix service. In addition, you agree not to enforce any "moral rights" in and to the Feedback, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Please note Pure Flix is not responsible for the similarity of any of its content or programming in any media to materials or ideas transmitted unsolicited to Pure Flix. Should you send any unsolicited materials or ideas, you do so with the understanding that no additional consideration of any sort will be provided to you, and you are waiving any claim against Pure Flix and its affiliates regarding the use of such materials and ideas, even if material or an idea is used that is substantially similar to the material or idea you sent.

  14. Arbitration Agreement

    1. If you are a Pure Flix member (including its possessions and territories), you and Pure Flix agree that any dispute or controversy arises between them, resolution to such dispute or controversy shall first be pursued in private meetings between the parties pursuant to conflict resolution principles then, by mediation and, if necessary, legally binding arbitration in accordance with the ICC Rules of Procedure for Christian Conciliation (complete text of the Rules is available at: (https://www.instituteforchristianconciliation.com/rules/).   If the parties are unable to decide on an arbitrator, each party will select an arbitrator and those two will jointly decide on a third-party arbitrator.  Judgment upon an arbitration decision may be entered in any court otherwise having jurisdiction.  The parties understand that these methods shall be the sole remedy for any controversy or claim arising out of this Agreement and expressly waive their right to file a lawsuit in any civil court against one another for such disputes, except to enforce an arbitration decision.

    2. If you elect to seek arbitration, you must first send to Pure Flix, by certified mail, a written Notice of your claim ("Notice"). The Notice to Pure Flix must be addressed to: General Counsel, God’s Not Dead Foundation d/b/a Pure Flix, 18940 N. Pima Road, Suite 110, Scottsdale, AZ 85255 ("Notice Address"). If Pure Flix initiates arbitration, it will send a written Notice to the email address used for your membership account. A Notice, whether sent by you or by Pure Flix, must (a) describe the nature and basis of the claim or dispute; and (b) set forth the specific relief sought ("Demand"). If Pure Flix and you do not reach an agreement to resolve the claim within 30 days after the Notice is received, you or Pure Flix may commence an arbitration proceeding.

    3. You and Pure Flix agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member of purported class or representative proceeding.  Further, unless both you and Pure Flix agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims with your claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding.

      Changes to these Terms of Service.

      We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.  We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices.  If we make material changes to these Terms of Service we will communicate that a change has been made to the policy in a reasonable manner that may include posting a notice on our web page, blog, specific announcement on this page, and/or posting the new Terms of Service here.

      Any modifications to these Terms of Service will be effective upon our posting of the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes on the Site(s) (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting).  In all cases, your continued use of the Site(s) and/or our services after the posting of any modified Terms of Service indicates your acceptance of the terms of the modified Terms of Service.
