Rest & Restoration
God, we live in a day and age where people believe that “you only live once” and “you can sleep when you die”, but even you, the sovereign God of the universe, rested. Please show us how to incorporate rest in our ever-busy lives. Help us to obey your commandment to honor the Sabbath so we will have a right mind in Christ. Help us to rest so that we will have strength and wisdom to combat the enemy and his devices. Show us what rest looks like for each of our lives. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
