In Christmas By the Spoonful, food critic Lorraine Boulanger (Laura Vandervoort) knows exceptional cuisine but has no culinary abilities of her own. When she is tasked with preparing her family’s first Christmas dinner since the passing of their beloved matriarch, Lorraine turns to local French food-truck owner Pierre DuBois (Olivier Renaud) for help. Their partnership comes with a complicated history: years earlier, one of Lorraine’s harsh reviews nearly put Pierre out of business. As they work together to create a meaningful holiday meal in honor of Lorraine’s mother, old resentments begin to soften and the spirit of Christmas creates an unexpected opportunity for forgiveness, connection, and love.
