God’s Love for Us
Love is the greatest gift God has given us: His love for us, the ability to love Him, and the ability to love our neighbors.
God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. (1 Jn 4:16)
The more we allow Jesus into our hearts, the more love we can give and receive from others. With Valentine’s Day coming up, we will spend the week meditating on God’s love and taking the time to show gratitude for the love we have in our lives, whether it be romantic love, familial love, or platonic love.
Here is today’s morning prayer:
Jesus, thank you for Your everlasting love and presence. Thank you for the ability to share this love with others. I surrender this day to You and Your Perfect Will, for the glory of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
