Beginning the day by spending time with the Lord helps us keep our hearts focused on what truly matters.
Here is today’s morning prayer:
Dear Lord, I pray for my community, for peace and good will. When there are many who seek to divide us, help us draw closer and find common ground. For the passions of the moment will end, but our need for community will endure. Only through you, and following your word, can we heal our divisions and bring our community together. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
