With a new season of Great American Christmas movies just around the corner, I’m so excited for all of the new Christmas movies we have coming this year! There are so many fun stories, great casts, beautiful Christmas settings and sweet moments throughout this year’s lineup. I’m excited for you all to join us and watch along this Christmas season!
Here are my personal rankings of this year’s Great American Christmas 2026 movies!
- Sweet Christmas Anniversary
I really loved the beautiful and unique filming location in Budapest, and the strong cast and Christmas music made this such a fun third installment!
- A Very Arctic Christmas
I really loved the fun Arctic setting, and the heartwarming father-daughter relationship was one of my favorite parts of the story.
- The Christmas Yes List
This was such a fun story with a great cast and plenty of funny moments. It was easy to get into and an entertaining and fun Christmas watch.
- A Christmas Prayer Tradition
I really enjoyed the strong cast, beautiful set design and meaningful faith moments throughout the story. This second movie has so much of what I enjoy in a Christmas movie!
- Three Generations, One Christmas
I really enjoyed the music and dancing throughout the story, and the strong family elements gave the movie so much heart.
- A Second Chance Christmas
I really enjoyed the heartfelt moments centered around faith and family. There’s a really warm feeling throughout this Christmas story.
- Silver Bells at Christmas
I really enjoyed the great music and strong cast, and the story had unexpected moments to keep things fun throughout!
- Christmas at Moose Lake
I really enjoyed seeing the multiple storylines come together, and I loved the strong family at the center of the story.
- The Ornament Library
I really enjoyed the mystery aspect and how it kept the story moving. The great cast also made this one really fun to watch.
- An Ozark Mountain Christmas
I loved that this was filmed in Branson, including Silver Dollar City, which gives the movie such a beautiful Christmas setting. I also really enjoyed the sweet sisterly bond throughout the story.
- The Greatest Christmas Gift
I really enjoyed the way the church, town and community come together in this story. Along with the wonderful cast, it gives the movie such a sweet and uplifting feeling.
- Making Christmas Bright
I really enjoyed the focus on community and giving back throughout the story. It has such a warm Christmas message, and the cast really makes it work.
- The Christmas Rescue
A fun story, great cast and adorable dogs make this such a lighthearted and enjoyable Christmas movie!
- Letters This Christmas
I really loved the beautiful setting, snowy scenery and gorgeous Christmas trees. It creates such a pretty Christmas atmosphere, and the great cast adds even more to the story.
- Karen Kingsbury’s The Christmas Ring
I really enjoyed the way the military storyline is woven into the story, along with the focus on family, faith and Christmas. It made this a really heartfelt watch.
- Christmas by the Spoonful
I really enjoyed all of the cooking throughout the story, and with a great cast and entertaining storyline, this was a fun Christmas movie.
- Christmas Wrapped In Love
I really enjoyed how the story kept me guessing with plenty of unexpected moments, and the great cast made it a fun watch from beginning to end.
- A Very Evergreen Christmas
I loved the beautiful location, snowy setting and gorgeous Christmas trees. It really gives the movie that picture perfect Christmas feel.
