From the Great American Media Newsroom
Great American Media announced this week that Pure Flix will stream the new children’s series, “Iggy and Mr. Kirk,” which debuts June 2. The 10-episode live-action/animated series stars Kirk Cameron (“Growing Pains,” “Fireproof”), Leigh-Allyn Baker (“Good Lucky Charlie,” “Will & Grace”) as Creative Leigh, and American puppeteer, John Kennedy (“Sesame Street,” “Muppets from Space”) as the voice of Iggy the Iguana.
Designed for children and families, “Iggy and Mr. Kirk” follows a curious iguana and his friend, Mr. Kirk, as they explore playful, yet profound life lessons grounded in Scripture. Each episode delivers faith-based values like kindness, courage, and compassion through engaging stories, humor, and music. The series joins other beloved children’s favorites on Pure Flix such as “VeggieTales” and “The Wiggles,” reflecting the platform’s commitment to wholesome, uplifting content that the entire family can enjoy.
“Great American Media is proud to bring Kirk Cameron to Pure Flix with “Iggy and Mr. Kirk,” said Bill Abbott, President & CEO, Great American Media. “This imaginative series sparks wonder and imagination while teaching children about faith, courage and compassion. Kirk’s dedication to faith-filled storytelling is a perfect fit for our mission to provide families with content that inspires, encourages, and uplifts.”
“I created this series with Brave Books to offer children and families a source of uplifting entertainment that’s both fun and meaningful,” said Kirk Cameron. “With ‘Iggy and Mr. Kirk,’ we’re committed to telling stories that parents can trust and kids can enjoy,” Cameron concluded.
