Every year on June 14, Americans observe Flag Day, a time to reflect on the history, freedoms, and shared values represented by the Stars and Stripes. While it may not come with the celebrations of other patriotic holidays, Flag Day offers a meaningful moment to appreciate the country we call home and the generations who have helped shape its story.
As America approaches its 250th birthday, many communities are finding simple ways to honor the occasion, whether through local events, family gatherings, acts of service, or by joining together in song. One of the traditions that continues to bring people together is singing The Star-Spangled Banner, a reminder of the resilience, gratitude, and unity that have long been part of the American experience.
