Earlier this year, we moved Pure Flix to an entirely new technology foundation to give our team more control over the experience and more flexibility to improve it over time.
We also know that transition wasn’t seamless. Some members lost portions of Favorites and Watch History, while other familiar features changed or became unavailable. We heard your frustration, and we talked openly about it during our Q&A.
That new foundation is now allowing us to focus on what matters most: a faster, more reliable, more accessible, and increasingly personalized Pure Flix experience.
A lot has changed at Pure Flix. Across those changes, our focus remains simple: make it easier to find, watch, and enjoy the content you love.
Better discovery: From Top 10 and Coming Soon to improved Browse and our newly rebuilt recommendation experience, we’re creating more ways to help you quickly find something worth watching.
A better viewing experience: We’re continuing to focus on app speed, screen load times, playback, stability, and accessibility across devices.
More personalization: Our new recommendation experience gives us greater control over how we connect you with content. Next, you’ll begin seeing more personalized rails like Recommended for You and Because You Watched.
We’re also expanding the ways you can experience Pure Flix:
We also shared Pure Flix Familia, a separate Spanish-language streaming experience coming soon with faith- and family-centered entertainment, including short-form vertical Novelitas.

Make Pure Flix More Personal
We heard strong interest in multiple profiles for families, better content preferences, and more personalized ways to discover and organize what you love.
Make Finding Something Great Even Easier
You asked for stronger search, including the ability to easily find everything featuring a favorite actor, along with better ways to group related movies, series, and seasonal content.
Make Watching More Seamless
You told us that the basics matter. Continue Watching, Up Next, staying signed in, playback, captions, and performance all need to work reliably across the devices you use. We also heard requests for more control, like removing titles from Continue Watching and clearly seeing which episodes you've already watched.
Give Me More Ways to Watch
Offline viewing was one of the ideas we heard more than once. You also shared interest in simpler sign-in options, easier subscription management, improved gifting, and even ways to bring Pure Flix and GFam+ together.
Make Pure Flix More of a Community
We loved hearing ideas for making the experience more interactive, from member recommendations and reviews to easier ways to share feedback, suggest content, and help support access for other families.
These ideas aren't a list of promised features or timelines. They're something equally important: a clearer picture of what matters to you. That feedback helps us prioritize where we improve, what we explore, and how we build the Pure Flix experience going forward.
